COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY
Buppie Productions is committed to uplifting and supporting the Black community through philanthropic endeavors. We partner with charities whose missions inspire us and have launched our own in-house initiatives dedicated to cultivating talent for the filmmaking Industry.
Our HBCU Writers Room Initiative engages students at select Historically Black Colleges and Universities with the goal of nurturing writing talent for future Buppie Productions projects and the general television and film industry.
We recognize the importance of Literacy in the community and make it our business to inspire a passion for storytelling in the youth. By providing young readers with books written by African American authors, we help to build cultural awareness, identity, and self-esteem with reading.
